30 Day Snap: Days 28 & 29!

So yesterday was a super boring day, I had a induction day for work and that really all I did! So no snaps from yesterday! So today I thought I'd just take two!

Me and my sister sat outside and played some childish board games in the sun!
We also bought a new summer hat each in Tesco of all places so we were road testing them and I have to say I have been thoroughly enjoying my purchase!

One day left of 30 Day Snap, this months gone so fast!

Birthday Wishlist: Random

Hello everyone! So I thought today I'd finish my Birthday Wishlist with all the other bit and pieces I am hoping to get for my birthday (22 days, not that I'm counting or anything!)

I apologise for the poor pictures but nothing would play ball today so we are going to have to deal with slightly rubbish picture quality!

1. Kaftan - Next
I absolutely love this kaftan, I saw it in store the other day and knew I had to have it! I love that it does up at the front and has elastic through the waist at the back meaning it has a little bit of shape! I adore the sparkly sequins on the left shoulder and think its pretty without being too in your face.

2. 90210 Box set - Season 4
I love this show and have all the box sets up till this one. I love watching a series on DVD one because it can last for ages rather than a film which could just kill an hour or so, and two because you get rid of all the ad breaks!!!

3. New Girl Box set - Season 1
I loved this show when it first started and then I sort've lost touch with it, I don't know if it was on on a night where I was always out or what but anyway I thought I'd watch it again from the beginning and then get season 2 when it comes out on DVD later on in the year!

3. Laid in Chelsea - Ollie Locke
I'm not sure what this book will be like but I love the show and think Ollie is so funny so its worth a try!

5. Porcelain Print Scarf - Zara
I saw this when snooping about on the website a few months ago liked it and then promptly forgot about it, however the other day I saw my friend wearing it and I was sold! Its such a pretty print and the colours are really bright! I think its now gone down in price in the sale but pretty sure it will go, I'm going to check next time I'm in store but this one might be just out of my reach! But hey, this is a wishlist after all!!!

So that's it for my birthday wishlist, I'm getting super excited for my birthday now, I need to step up the plans and sort out what I'm doing to celebrate. Last year of being a teenager, scary.

Any of you got birthdays coming up? What's on your list? Anyone not got a birthday coming up and still got  list? Its fine, we all do it! Let me know in the comments!

Remember to go and follow me on Bloglovin', GFC will soon be gone for good!!

Handbag Beauty Essentials!

Hello everyone! Today I thought I'd thought I'd do a little 'Whats in my bag' style post. I love being a bit nosey and seeing what other people have in their bags so thought you might like to see what's in mine!

It is going to be my beauty essentials cause the only other things I have in my handbag are my purse, my sunnies and my glasses (and usually an umbrella!) not all that interesting but if you'd like to see a full what's in my bag then let me know in the comments!!

So, lets dive in!

So I usually carry my 'Little brown cosmetic' makeup bag that I got from Bloomingdales in New York when I went last year, its perfect for my handbag because its not that big and its quite slim so it slips in perfectly. I love having it with me because every time I see it, it reminds me of my trip to my favourite place in the world!!!

Nothing I carry round with me is very exciting, I hate having a super heavy bag so I try to be frugal with my choices! I always have the obligatory pack of tissues (how cute is my current pack?!) and a compact mirror, this one actually has a light in and I think it was £1 from Primark, you cant really go wrong!

More recently I bought myself some hand wipes (again from Primark) because I was fed up of walking round town with swatches of various lipsticks and the like that I just couldn't help but try all over my hand. I still feel proud of this feat of organisation many weeks later, loser.

I also carry a nail file, I got this one the other day with a little case which I personally think is a great idea! I ALWAYS have chipped nails, I break them daily and get very frustrated so this stops me having a minor break down over the fact that my newly broken nail catches on everything I come close to!

So down to the make up side of things. This collection powder isn't my fave (Rimmel Stay Matte is!)  however it does the job. If I feel a bit shiny all I need is something to blot away any moisture, and I don't mind if this one breaks up being thrown about in my bag either because its so cheap. Sorted.

I carry more lip products than anything else, but who doesn't?! I hate having dry lips so have to have something to top up the moisture. I love the limited edition Pink Bubbly Vaseline, its a pale pink colour so it brighten's up the lips without being over the top (like the original pink Vaseline). I also have a mini Clinique superbalm gloss in Grapefruit. I LOVE this gloss, and have the full size one at home but this one's so cute and perfect for my travels, it is running out though which actually makes me sad! I then carry round whichever lipstick I have chosen for the day, currently my MAC lippy in Peach Blossom is in there but this gets substituted a lot!

I have a mini version of my perfume (Mark Jacobs Daisy eau so fresh) for top ups throughout the day and a mini  They're real mascara from Benefit. The only real reason I carry this mascara is because its a mini version so its easier, its not my favourite but its pretty good! Randomly I always have a tube of eyelash glue, I'm not really sure why as I only ever wear lashes on a night out but those little tubes seem to get everywhere and if I do have lashes on I always forget to take the glue with me so I'm always glad of it being there!

Obviously things get substituted in an out as I wear them and find new things but these are the things I will always have with me!

What do you carry round with you? I know some people carry their whole make up bag with them, if that's you how do you do it?!

Birthday Wishlist: Beauty!

Hello everyone! How has your week been?

So with my birthday just around the corner I have been on the lookout for products that will make the cut to get onto my birthday list. I thought today I'd give you a little sneeky peek into what's on my list in regards to beauty!

1. YSL Rogue Volupte Shine - Coral Intuitive
I have been eyeing up these little beauties for a while now, every time I walk past a YSL counter it seems I cant help but swatch away! I have made a decision that the colour that is top of my list is coral intuitive, A really pretty peachy coral that I think will be perfect for summer, something you can just quickly apply and you're good to go!

2. MAC Mineralize skin finish - Soft and Gentle
The much hyped blogger fave that really just has to be mine.

3. Stila 'In the Light' Palette
Now, I know that Urban Decay Naked palette is raved about but after doing a little research I have seen a fair few people loving this palette just as much if not more! For a cheaper price tag this one looks like a much better deal!

4. Origins GinZing moisturiser
I am in desperate need of a decent day cream and this latest offering from Origins looks like it will fit the bill. Its not too expensive but too much for my poor student pockets to cope with.so onto the list it goes!

4. Clarins Lip Perfecter - Apricot Shimmer
I really like the look of these, the idea that it will moisturise and colour really does things for me because I suffer with really dry lips so we shall see what these are like!

5. Real Techniques - Starter Set
I really need some new eye brushes and I love Real Techniques. Need I say more?!

6. MAC Paint Pot - Vintage Selection
I have been loving my cream blushes at the moment and so I thought I'd venture into the world of cream eye bases. This looks like a really pretty neutral shade and I'm quite excited to try it!

So that it for the Beauty Side of my list, keep an eye out for the other bit an pieces on my list coming very soon!

What's currently on your beauty hit list? Let me know in the comments!

Bourjois Cream Blushes

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well, Boredom is most definitely setting in here.

Now today's post of a much needed review of the Bourjois Cream blushes!

I apologise about the poor quality swatches. The light really didn't want to play ball!

So as you can see I invested in shades #1 and #3, Nude velvet and Rose Tender. I love both, and am very tempted to complete my set. I don't usually get on with cream blushes, I find they slip off my face half way through the day and the colour is either way to bright or not bright enough. I really love the formulas of these blushes as they give a cream to powder finish, which means they are super easy to blend but last longer (on me anyway) and give a natural looking flush. As you can just about see from the swatches they blend to a really lovely colour and are buildable so you can dab a smidge on for lazy days or layer it up for something a little more dramatic. My favourite way to wear them is with a bronzed up face and either of these blended into the apples of my cheeks, it just makes you look really healthy and glowing! I have already got so much wear out of both these colours and highly recommend going out and taking a look. You can find them here for just £6.99 at the moment (usually £7.99). Personally I think they're great value for money, they'll last a decent amount of time and you get a really lovely product!

I's also like to add that the packaging is so pretty and compact its possibly one of my favourite things about the product. I love the retro, vintage type vibe. Practicality wise they close with a magnet and seem pretty sturdy. They are also lightweight and a good little size so easy just to throw in your handbag for a top up during the day or a extra hint of colour to take you from day to night. These will most definitely be coming on holiday with me this year!

Have you tried these? Is there any other Bourjois products you could rave about al day long? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you're all enjoying the 30 Day Snap challenge, let me know if you're doing it too!!

May Favourites!

Hello everyone! Its another sunny Sunday and I am really getting into this summer malarky now. All my summer clothes are and out I am officially done with my first year of Uni!

So a few days late here are my May Faves for you!

First up is my Tresemme Hairpray

I had been using Silverkrin but I recently had a sample of this hairspray and fell in love so went and bought the giant can. I'm not even joking the can is about as big as my head! I use number 4 Extra hold, this stuff is really good for holding my curls in place all day and actually smells quite nice, for a hairspray anyway!

Next the Bourjois cream blushes particularly number 3, Rose Tender.

The perfect pink flush. I love it with some bronzer all over my face and this so give the apples of my cheeks a little colour. Proper review will be up later in the week :)

Third is the Lush lip scrub in Bubblegum.

This works wonders if you want to wear a bright lip, particularly a matte one, as it gets rid of all the dead skin and gives you a smooth base. I suffer with particularly dry lips so this stuff is a God send. Its just made of sugar and you can  lick it off after but it is super sweet! Next time you're in lush I definitely recommend this!

Next I have been loving the Rimmel Scandeleyes mascara.

Now, I'm the first to admit I am a bit of a mascara whore. I never stick to one religiously and would happily buy a new one every week if I had the money! I am really on the look out for a hero product that I can stick to and gives me the desired effect. I like my lashes to be full and fluttery, really long and defined. I'm not that  bothered about volume I would much rather have really long and fluttery lashes. Now I did love the Benefit They're real, but if I'm honest I didn't love it for the price it is. I got this one free because I spent £10 on Rimmel in boots a few weeks ago and actually really love it! The wand is a little chunky for my liking but it does have fibre bristles rather than a plastic brush which is a plus. This mascara give me something very close to what I want and so it is definitely on top of the pile at the moment. I really want to try the new YSL Babydoll but unfortunately I don't think my bank balance would appreciate that purchase right at this moment!

Finally its my nail love of the month. Top nails in Carnival.

I love this colour, it really makes me feel summery! The formula isn't great but if you layer it up and do good think coats you're good to go! It wear pretty well, this picture is after 3 days of wear and they're doing pretty well (apart from my thumb that I had an accident with and am consequently hiding in the photo!!) My Mum commented that it was very sixties and I really love that vibe so big thumbs up!

As a bit of a different favourite to add on the end this month, I have seriously been loving fragrancedirect.com! I noticed that they had Essie polishes for £1.99 and OPI for £3.99! Well I couldn't resist so I had to do some purchasing! I also bought a sachet of the Macadamia deep repair hair mask to try as well for £1.99!

I'll let you know how I get on with this little lot! I'm particularly excited about the pink OPI one with little pink hearts in it! SO cute!

So thats it for this months favourites! What have been you faves this month? Do let me know in the comments!

I now have the hicupps and I need to go get rid of them!
