Bourjois Cream Blushes

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well, Boredom is most definitely setting in here.

Now today's post of a much needed review of the Bourjois Cream blushes!

I apologise about the poor quality swatches. The light really didn't want to play ball!

So as you can see I invested in shades #1 and #3, Nude velvet and Rose Tender. I love both, and am very tempted to complete my set. I don't usually get on with cream blushes, I find they slip off my face half way through the day and the colour is either way to bright or not bright enough. I really love the formulas of these blushes as they give a cream to powder finish, which means they are super easy to blend but last longer (on me anyway) and give a natural looking flush. As you can just about see from the swatches they blend to a really lovely colour and are buildable so you can dab a smidge on for lazy days or layer it up for something a little more dramatic. My favourite way to wear them is with a bronzed up face and either of these blended into the apples of my cheeks, it just makes you look really healthy and glowing! I have already got so much wear out of both these colours and highly recommend going out and taking a look. You can find them here for just £6.99 at the moment (usually £7.99). Personally I think they're great value for money, they'll last a decent amount of time and you get a really lovely product!

I's also like to add that the packaging is so pretty and compact its possibly one of my favourite things about the product. I love the retro, vintage type vibe. Practicality wise they close with a magnet and seem pretty sturdy. They are also lightweight and a good little size so easy just to throw in your handbag for a top up during the day or a extra hint of colour to take you from day to night. These will most definitely be coming on holiday with me this year!

Have you tried these? Is there any other Bourjois products you could rave about al day long? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you're all enjoying the 30 Day Snap challenge, let me know if you're doing it too!!

30 Day Snap: Day 5!

After a days audition on a beauty counter (I'll leave you guessing which for now...) and playing around with lots of make up it took three pumps of cleanse and polish plus two pads of bioderma for my face to feel anything near clean!

May Favourites!

Hello everyone! Its another sunny Sunday and I am really getting into this summer malarky now. All my summer clothes are and out I am officially done with my first year of Uni!

So a few days late here are my May Faves for you!

First up is my Tresemme Hairpray

I had been using Silverkrin but I recently had a sample of this hairspray and fell in love so went and bought the giant can. I'm not even joking the can is about as big as my head! I use number 4 Extra hold, this stuff is really good for holding my curls in place all day and actually smells quite nice, for a hairspray anyway!

Next the Bourjois cream blushes particularly number 3, Rose Tender.

The perfect pink flush. I love it with some bronzer all over my face and this so give the apples of my cheeks a little colour. Proper review will be up later in the week :)

Third is the Lush lip scrub in Bubblegum.

This works wonders if you want to wear a bright lip, particularly a matte one, as it gets rid of all the dead skin and gives you a smooth base. I suffer with particularly dry lips so this stuff is a God send. Its just made of sugar and you can  lick it off after but it is super sweet! Next time you're in lush I definitely recommend this!

Next I have been loving the Rimmel Scandeleyes mascara.

Now, I'm the first to admit I am a bit of a mascara whore. I never stick to one religiously and would happily buy a new one every week if I had the money! I am really on the look out for a hero product that I can stick to and gives me the desired effect. I like my lashes to be full and fluttery, really long and defined. I'm not that  bothered about volume I would much rather have really long and fluttery lashes. Now I did love the Benefit They're real, but if I'm honest I didn't love it for the price it is. I got this one free because I spent £10 on Rimmel in boots a few weeks ago and actually really love it! The wand is a little chunky for my liking but it does have fibre bristles rather than a plastic brush which is a plus. This mascara give me something very close to what I want and so it is definitely on top of the pile at the moment. I really want to try the new YSL Babydoll but unfortunately I don't think my bank balance would appreciate that purchase right at this moment!

Finally its my nail love of the month. Top nails in Carnival.

I love this colour, it really makes me feel summery! The formula isn't great but if you layer it up and do good think coats you're good to go! It wear pretty well, this picture is after 3 days of wear and they're doing pretty well (apart from my thumb that I had an accident with and am consequently hiding in the photo!!) My Mum commented that it was very sixties and I really love that vibe so big thumbs up!

As a bit of a different favourite to add on the end this month, I have seriously been loving fragrancedirect.com! I noticed that they had Essie polishes for £1.99 and OPI for £3.99! Well I couldn't resist so I had to do some purchasing! I also bought a sachet of the Macadamia deep repair hair mask to try as well for £1.99!

I'll let you know how I get on with this little lot! I'm particularly excited about the pink OPI one with little pink hearts in it! SO cute!

So thats it for this months favourites! What have been you faves this month? Do let me know in the comments!

I now have the hicupps and I need to go get rid of them!
